About me

Hi, I’m Laura - the writer behind Personal Poetry Co.

I’ve been writing poetry for around fifteen years, including honing my craft during an English Lit with Creative Writing degree.

As well as sharing my words with friends, family and on Instagram, I have been published on Dear Damsels, Lunate and the Everyday Magazine.

My professional background is in marketing, but writing has always been a huge part of my life, from writing theatre reviews and running my own blog, to publishing poems and even writing a novel (still work in progress!)

I started Personal Poetry Co. after planning my own wedding, and loving the process of finding the perfect personal touches, gifts and words to punctuate our day.

When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me reading, exploring new places, hanging out with my spaniel or eating too many salty snacks.
